Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By accessing or using preTune, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not use the platform. These terms apply to all members, regardless of how you accessed your invitation.

2. Eligibility and access

preTune is invite-only. Access requires a valid referral code from an existing member. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity that occurs under your account.

3. Content you upload

You retain ownership of any music or audio content you upload to preTune. By uploading content, you grant preTune a limited licence to store, process, and deliver that content solely for the purpose of operating the platform (including watermarking).

You must only upload content that you own or have the legal right to share. Do not upload content that infringes copyright, contains unlicensed samples, or violates any third-party rights. We reserve the right to remove content that violates these terms.

4. Watermarking and downloads

Every track downloaded through preTune has a unique, inaudible watermark embedded that identifies you as the recipient. This watermark is used to trace the source of any leaked audio.

• Downloads are limited to 20 tracks per calendar month per account.
• You may not attempt to detect, remove, or circumvent watermarks.
• Sharing a watermarked download with any third party is a breach of these terms and may result in account termination.

5. Prohibited conduct

You agree not to:

• Share, resell, or redistribute any downloaded tracks
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, bypass, or remove watermarks
• Use automated tools to scrape, download, or interact with the platform
• Upload malicious files or attempt to exploit the platform
• Harass, impersonate, or abuse other members
• Create multiple accounts or share your account with others

6. Referrals

As a member, you may receive referral codes to invite other artists and producers. You are responsible for the conduct of anyone you invite. Abuse of the referral system (such as selling codes or inviting bad actors) may result in termination of your account and all accounts you referred.

7. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms, at our sole discretion, with or without notice. You may also close your account at any time from the account settings page. Upon termination, your content may be removed.

8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

preTune is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, and we are not liable for any loss of content or data.

While watermarking significantly reduces leak risk, we cannot guarantee that watermarks will survive all post-processing transformations applied after download. preTune is a tool to assist in identifying leaks, not a guarantee that leaks will not occur.

preTune is not liable for any music leaks, unauthorised distribution of your content, or any damages arising from such events. By using the platform you acknowledge that the ultimate responsibility for the security of your music lies with you and the people you choose to share it with.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of preTune after changes are posted constitutes acceptance. We will update the date at the top of this page when changes are made.
